The Alpha Experience 2025, held on 20–21 September at Confetti KL, was a two-day celebration of creativity, innovation, and visual storytelling. One of the event’s biggest highlights was the showcase of Sony’s RX1R III, the return of Sony’s premium fixed-lens compact camera. With its full-frame high-resolution sensor, modern autofocus system, and compact form factor, the RX1R III drew strong interest among professionals and enthusiasts alike. Guests had the rare opportunity to test the camera on-site, experiencing its performance in real-world shooting scenarios. Sony also confirmed that the RX1R III would be available in Malaysia starting September 2025, with official retail pricing revealed during the event.
Celebrating Local Talent
Alpha Experience 2025 wrapped up with the Road to Alpha Experience Photo Contest finale. Shortlisted entries were displayed throughout the venue, turning the space into a vibrant gallery of perspectives. The live announcement of winners created an atmosphere of excitement and pride as talented creators received Sony gear prizes — from lenses to accessories — along with recognition from their peers.
