HONOR Magic9 Pro Max Coming Soon to Malaysia with ARRI-Engineered Cinematic Camera

HONOR has confirmed that its latest flagship, the HONOR Magic9 Pro Max, will be arriving in Malaysia soon following strong demand after its launch in China.

The announcement comes alongside HONOR’s collaboration with the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS), where the company has been named the Official Cinematic Imaging Smartphone Partner of the 35th Malaysia Film Festival (FFM35). The awards ceremony will take place at Istana Budaya on 21 November 2026.

Bringing Cinematic Imaging to Smartphones

One of the biggest highlights of the HONOR Magic9 Pro Max is its camera system, co-engineered with ARRI, the renowned cinema camera manufacturer trusted by professional filmmakers worldwide.

The collaboration aims to bring professional cinematic imaging characteristics to smartphone photography and videography, including natural colours, realistic skin tones and richer cinematic visuals.and

HONOR also highlights the device’s ability to capture fast-moving subjects with clarity and stability, making it suitable for action photography and video recording.

A New Design for HONOR’s 10th-Anniversary Flagship

The Magic9 Pro Max marks a decade of HONOR’s Magic flagship innovation, bringing major upgrades in imaging, design and performance.

Unlike previous generations that featured a signature circular camera module, the new model introduces a refreshed design direction for the Magic flagship series.

It also promises flagship-level performance and long-lasting battery life, building on the strengths that helped the Magic9 Series achieve strong sales in China. More specifications and features will be revealed during its Malaysian launch.
