HUAWEI WATCH 6 Series Arrives in Malaysia with Next-Gen Health Intelligence
Huawei Malaysia has officially launched the HUAWEI WATCH 6 Series and HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 5 Max, expanding its wearable and personal audio portfolio in Malaysia.
Available in standard and Pro versions, the WATCH 6 Series focuses on proactive health monitoring, premium design, independent connectivity and smarter everyday experiences.
Premium Design and Advanced Health Monitoring
The HUAWEI WATCH 6 Series features two models: the WATCH 6 and WATCH 6 Pro. The Pro version uses premium titanium alloy and nano-tech ceramic materials, while the standard model offers a lighter design with Huawei’s EasyCross strap.
Both models feature spherical sapphire glass, while the Pro models deliver peak display brightness of up to 3,500 nits.
Health monitoring is a major highlight, with an upgraded X-TAP system featuring a 20-level tactile sensor and 12-channel PPG sensor.
The series introduces Hypertension Risk Study and Diabetes Risk Study, making it the first smartwatch in Malaysia to support both health risk studies. Huawei Malaysia is also collaborating with Sunway University on the Hypertension Risk Study to validate its wearable technology for hypertension risk screening.
Its upgraded Health Glance provides an overview of 13 health metrics in approximately 60 seconds with a single tap, covering basic, cardiovascular, endocrine and respiratory health. Other features include Morning Briefing, Physical Readiness Score and Health Analysis.
These risk studies are intended to support health awareness and screening, not replace professional medical diagnosis.
Smarter Connectivity and Fitness Features
The HUAWEI WATCH 6 Series supports built-in eSIM connectivity, allowing users to make and receive calls directly from the watch without carrying their smartphones.
Dual-Phone Connection allows the watch to connect with two smartphones, while Petal Maps, music and audiobook support provide additional standalone convenience.
New gesture controls, including Quick Flip, Pinch and Slide, make everyday interactions more intuitive. The series also supports Huawei’s Celia assistant.
For fitness enthusiasts, users get more than 100 sports modes, including trail running, golf and freediving up to 40 metres. AI Workout Analysis provides insights into training performance, while the WATCH 6 Pro’s Expedition App adds route planning, offline maps, waypoint marking and return navigation.
Battery life varies by model and usage, with the 42mm versions offering up to seven days and the 46mm versions up to 11 days.
HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 5 Max: Up to 80 Hours of Playback
Also launched is the HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 5 Max, an affordable wireless earbud option featuring up to 52dB Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation and a six-microphone system for clearer calls.
The earbuds offer up to 80 hours of total playback with the charging case and up to 10 hours on a single charge. They also support Hi-Res Audio, LDAC, Bluetooth 6.0 and dual-device connectivity.
With IP55 water and dust resistance, the FreeBuds SE 5 Max is suitable for everyday commuting, work and workouts.
