Insta360 Launches Luna Pro Leica Co-Engineered Gimbal Camera
Insta360 has launched the Luna Pro, a new gimbal camera co-engineered with Leica and designed for vloggers and lifestyle creators.
The camera combines a Leica Summicron lens with a 1-inch 8K sensor, supporting 8K Dolby Vision video, 10-bit I-Log and built-in timecode for both everyday content and more advanced video production.

For social media creators, Luna Pro supports native 4K 30fps vertical video with 6K oversampling. It can also record slow-motion footage at up to 4K 120fps and offers up to 2x lossless zoom and 4x HighRes Zoom.
A 3-axis gimbal, AI-powered Deep Track and Rapid Focus help deliver stable footage while keeping subjects sharp. The detachable 2-inch OLED touchscreen provides flexible framing, while quick controls make recording easier when shooting solo.
The Luna Pro also features up to four hours of battery life, 47GB built-in storage, wireless microphone support and Leica colour profiles including Natural, Vivid and Chrome. Its 10-bit I-Log and built-in timecode further support professional editing workflows.
The Insta360 Luna Pro is available globally from September 10, starting at US$599.99 for the Standard Bundle. It comes in Cosmic Black and Stellar White.
Insta360 has also opened submissions for the Global Awards 2026 Supported by Leica, with entries accepted until October 31 and prizes worth up to more than US$7,500 for selected winners.
