Motion sickness is a common problem for many people, especially when using phones or reading while travelling in cars, buses, or other moving vehicles. Hearapy offers a simple alternative to pills or patches by using sound therapy instead.
The feature works by playing a 100Hz low-frequency tone through connected earbuds or headphones. According to Samsung, this tone stimulates the inner ear and helps rebalance sensory signals when what you see does not match the movement your body feels — one of the main causes of motion sickness.
By correcting this imbalance, Hearapy may help reduce the unpleasant symptoms many travellers experience.

Samsung says Hearapy can begin providing relief in as little as 60 seconds. When used before travelling, it may help lessen motion sickness symptoms for up to two hours.
Users can also customise playback duration, with settings of up to 120 seconds, allowing more flexibility depending on personal sensitivity or trip length.

Hearapy is optimised for the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 series, but it also supports most other earbuds and headphones, making the feature accessible to a wider audience.
