Sonos Launches Beam Ultra, Ace Ultra and Sonos 27 in Malaysia

Sonos has officially introduced its latest audio products and software in Malaysia, including the Sonos Beam Ultra, Sonos Ace Ultra headphones and the new Sonos 27 operating system. The new products will be available from 29 September 2026 through TC Acoustic, the official Sonos distributor in Malaysia.

The Sonos Beam Ultra retains the compact design of the Beam series while upgrading the home theatre experience with 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos. It features nine custom drivers, including two up-firing drivers, for wider and more immersive sound, while a redesigned centre channel is designed to deliver clearer dialogue.

The soundbar can also be expanded with a Sonos Sub or compatible Sonos portable speakers used as Portable Surrounds. Users can further adjust dialogue clarity with four levels of AI Speech Enhancement, while Night Sound is available for quieter late-night viewing.

For personal listening, the Sonos Ace Ultra is the company’s latest premium over-ear headphone. It features a Sonos-designed 40mm driver, Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation powered by 10 microphones and up to 35 hours of battery life with ANC enabled.

Built on Sonos Headphone Engine 2, the Ace Ultra also introduces direct integration with the Sonos system. Users can transfer audio playing through their Sonos setup directly to the headphones, or return it to the speakers, with a single press without requiring a phone nearby.

Meanwhile, Sonos 27 introduces a refreshed app experience alongside new AI capabilities and improved interaction between Sonos products.

One of the major additions is Sonos 27mcp, which allows compatible AI platforms such as ChatGPT to interact with a Sonos system through the Model Context Protocol. Users can make natural-language requests to play music in specific rooms, adjust volume or move playback between speakers.

Sonos has also previewed Sonos Custom Agents, expected to arrive in 2027, allowing users to create personalised AI agents with their own models, personas and voices.

Malaysia Pricing and Availability

The Sonos Beam Ultra will be available from 29 September 2026 for RM4,199 in Black and White.

The Sonos Ace Ultra will retail for RM2,299 and comes in Black, White, Agave and Sand.
