CelcomDigi Berhad, through its Arena CelcomDigi platform, has partnered with ZK Racing Team to support MotoMini Malaysia, a grassroots initiative aimed at nurturing the next generation of Malaysian motorcycle racing talent.

Announced on 28 October 2026 in Petaling Jaya, the collaboration aims to encourage more young Malaysians to participate in motorcycle racing through professional coaching, structured development and greater exposure to competitive racing.

Developing Future Champions

Building on Arena CelcomDigi’s commitment to sports and active lifestyles, the partnership aims to create opportunities for young riders to develop their skills and pursue their motorsport ambitions.

As part of the initiative, two promising young riders will be identified and supported throughout their racing journey. They will also have opportunities to learn from Malaysian racing talents Hakim Danish and Qabil Irfan through mentoring and sharing sessions, gaining insights from their experiences competing internationally.

CelcomDigi’s Head of Brand & Marketing Services, Chan May Ling, said the partnership aims to inspire young Malaysians to pursue their passion for motorsports while providing access to the guidance and experiences needed to progress.

ZK Racing Director Zulfahmi Khairuddin added that MotoMini Malaysia was established to help young riders learn, compete and develop from an early age, with the long-term goal of building a stronger pipeline of Malaysian talent capable of competing internationally.

A Pathway from Grassroots to International Racing

MotoMini Malaysia welcomes riders as young as six years old, offering a structured pathway that allows participants to progress from grassroots competition to higher levels of motorcycle racing.

The programme also provides opportunities for talented riders to advance to international competitions, including the FIM MiniGP World Final in Valencia, Spain.

Through this collaboration, CelcomDigi and ZK Racing Team aim to strengthen Malaysia’s motorsport development ecosystem and give aspiring young racers the coaching, exposure and support needed to pursue their ambitions.

The initiative reflects a shared commitment to discovering future champions who could one day follow in the footsteps of Hakim Danish and Qabil Irfan on the international racing stage
