JETOUR T2 i-DM Launched in Malaysia with 1,200km Range and 265kW Output

JETOUR Malaysia has officially introduced the JETOUR T2 i-DM, a plug-in hybrid SUV that combines a 1.5L TGDi hybrid engine, a 3-speed dedicated hybrid transmission and a dual-motor electric system.

The hybrid SUV delivers up to 265kW of combined power and 610Nm of torque, with a claimed combined driving range of up to 1,200km and more than 100km of pure electric driving range. It is designed to support daily commuting while retaining the rugged styling and adventure-oriented character of the JETOUR T2.

The i-DM hybrid system features five driving scenarios, including EV Drive for low-speed travel, Series Hybrid for urban traffic, Dual Power Boost for overtaking and hill climbing, Parallel Hybrid for highway driving and Regenerative Braking to recover energy during deceleration.

Power comes from an 18.4kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery with IP68 water and dust protection, underbody protection and high-temperature resistance. The vehicle also supports up to 3.3kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality for powering compatible external equipment.

Charging options include 57kW DC fast charging, which can replenish the battery from 30% to 80% in 27 minutes or less. AC 6.6kW wallbox charging takes up to three hours from 30% to 100%, while a 2.2kW portable charger requires up to six hours under stated conditions.

The T2 i-DM features a rugged exterior with Auto LED Headlamps, 20-inch Trailblazer Alloy Wheels, Door Mirrors Reversing Mode and a rear-mounted spare tyre with an electric suction back door.

Inside, equipment includes a 15.6-inch multimedia display, Sony 12-speaker premium audio system and a 50W wireless charger. Other features include front memory seats with Welcome Function, ventilated front seats, an illuminated crystal gear knob, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror and multicolour ambient lighting.

Safety and driver assistance features include Level 2 ADAS, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Assist Intervention, Blind Spot Detection, Integrated Cruise Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Intelligent High Beam. The SUV also comes with six airbags, a high-strength steel body structure, panoramic view monitoring and tyre pressure monitoring.

Priced at RM162,800, the JETOUR T2 i-DM comes with an Early Bird Package worth up to RM3,000 for the first 2,000 registrations. Buyers can choose between a complimentary 7kW AC wallbox charger with installation or RM2,000 in ChargeSini charging credit. A complimentary V2L adapter cable is also included, subject to terms and conditions.

Ownership benefits include a seven-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty, eight-year or 160,000km high-voltage battery warranty, 10-year or 1,000,000km engine warranty and five complimentary service sessions.

The JETOUR T2 i-DM is also supported by an insurance programme that includes wallbox charger coverage of up to RM5,000 and third-party personal liability coverage of up to RM50,000. Special Perils Coverage will be offered to the first 2,000 registered owners or until 28 February 2027, whichever comes first.
