JETOUR is highlighting its latest off-road technologies, combining intelligent four-wheel-drive systems with premium comfort features to deliver a more accessible and refined travel experience.

At the 2026 JETOUR Global Technology Experience Day, held on 21 October in Moganshan, Zhejiang, China, the brand organised a wilderness test drive featuring its T Series and G Series vehicles. The models tackled various challenging obstacles, including water crossings, cross-axle sections and crested ramps, demonstrating their off-road capabilities across different terrains.

XWD Intelligent 4WD Simplifies Off-Road Driving

Traditional off-roading often requires considerable driving experience, particularly when navigating difficult terrain or manually adjusting driving modes and differential locks. JETOUR aims to simplify the process with its XWD Intelligent 4WD system, which uses algorithms to assess terrain conditions and optimise power distribution.

During the test drive, T Series models navigated water crossings, a water-fording bridge and cross-axle obstacles. As traction conditions changed, the system adjusted power delivery to help maintain grip, while the electronic jaw-type differential lock provided additional support when traction was limited.

Drivers can select from seven preset driving modes: Eco, Standard, Sport, Snow, Mud, Sand and Rock. Alternatively, the one-touch X intelligent off-road mode simplifies operation by automatically adapting the vehicle to changing terrain conditions.

By combining terrain sensing with intelligent power management, XWD is designed to improve off-road capability while making challenging driving situations easier to manage.

GAIA Architecture Combines Performance and Luxury

Beyond off-road capability, JETOUR is focusing on comfort and refinement through its GAIA architecture, which integrates powertrain, chassis and cabin technologies.

In the JETOUR G700, the GAIA super hybrid powertrain supports driving across different road conditions. Its Continuous Damping Control (CDC) intelligent suspension and air suspension systems adjust damping and ride height to suit the terrain, helping improve comfort when travelling over uneven or pothole-filled surfaces.

The G700 also features a premium cabin designed to make longer journeys more comfortable. Highlights include a four-screen interactive smart cockpit, multifunction seats, high-quality audio and immersive in-cabin amenities.

Together, these technologies aim to balance all-terrain performance with a more refined driving and passenger experience, bringing luxury features into the off-road segment.

Expanding Travel Possibilities Through Technology

JETOUR’s latest developments reflect its broader “Travel+” strategy, which focuses on creating vehicles that cater to diverse travel needs, from challenging outdoor adventures to comfortable long-distance journeys.

By combining intelligent four-wheel-drive technology with integrated hybrid powertrains, adaptive suspension systems and premium interiors, the brand aims to make off-road exploration more accessible without compromising comfort.

JETOUR says it will continue developing technologies and vehicles around the evolving mobility needs of global customers, with the goal of expanding travel possibilities through innovation.
