Samsung Electronics recently highlighted its growing HVAC portfolio at Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) 2026 in Milan, one of the world’s leading trade fairs for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, renewable energy and water solutions.

Held from 24 to 27 March 2026 at Fiera Milano, the event gave Samsung the opportunity to present a broad range of solutions for residential, commercial and smart building environments. It also marked the first joint showcase featuring products from FläktGroup, the European HVAC specialist acquired by Samsung last year.

Sean Lim, Executive Vice President and Head of the Air Solution Business Team at Samsung Electronics, said the company continues to strengthen its presence in the HVAC industry by delivering new innovations that improve everyday living.

Smarter Home Cooling with Bespoke AI WindFree Pro

One of the main highlights was the new Bespoke AI WindFree Pro air conditioner, designed to offer improved comfort with a sleek new design for modern homes.

The unit features Samsung’s latest Motion Wind technology with seven airflow patterns, ranging from powerful cooling to the brand’s signature draft-free WindFree mode. It also introduces AI-powered features such as:

  • AI Direct Wind for targeted cooling
  • AI Indirect Wind for indirect airflow comfort
  • AI Fast & Comfort Cooling, which automatically adjusts cooling modes based on indoor and outdoor conditions

Users can also activate AI Energy Mode through the SmartThings app, helping reduce energy usage by up to 30 percent.

All-in-One Heat Pump for Year-Round Use

Samsung also showcased its integrated EHS ClimateHub system, combining heating, cooling and hot water supply in one solution.

The system is designed for year-round comfort and can operate multiple functions simultaneously, while its heat recovery technology improves efficiency by reusing energy during cooling or heating cycles. It delivers a high COP of up to 8.2, making it an energy-saving option for homes.

Commercial HVAC Solutions

For commercial applications, Samsung presented the new DVM S2+ VRF system, featuring R32 refrigerant, built-in safety functions and AI Adaptive Control that can lower energy consumption by up to 25 percent under selected conditions.

Also featured were FläktGroup’s large-scale HVAC solutions such as:

  • Air Handling Units (AHUs)
  • Chilled Beams
  • Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
  • Air Terminal Systems

These solutions are ideal for offices, industrial spaces and data centres.

Smart Building Connectivity

Samsung also demonstrated how SmartThings Pro can help businesses and homeowners manage HVAC systems more efficiently through centralized monitoring, device control and energy management tools.

Looking Ahead

Through its showcase at MCE 2026, Samsung reaffirmed its commitment to expanding its HVAC business globally by combining smart technology, energy efficiency and practical solutions for modern living spaces.
