LG Launches Ultra-Low-Power E-Paper Display for Commercial Spaces
LG Electronics has introduced its new LG E-Paper Display, an ultra-low-power commercial signage solution designed for retail, hospitality, and corporate environments. The display recently received the 2026 Red Dot Award for Product Design.
The 32-inch QHD display uses electronic ink technology that consumes power only when content is updated, helping businesses significantly reduce energy usage compared to traditional digital signage.

Designed to mimic the appearance of paper posters, the display features a slim profile measuring just 8.6mm at its thinnest point and weighs only 3.1kg, making installation and repositioning easier.
LG says the display delivers a comfortable viewing experience with wide 180-degree viewing angles and enhanced colour reproduction powered by the company’s proprietary image optimisation technology.
The LG E-Paper Display is equipped with a 72Wh battery and ultra-low-power SoC for extended operation, while smart power management automatically adjusts energy usage based on content schedules.
Built on LG’s webOS platform with Wi-Fi connectivity, the display supports remote management, software updates, and content scheduling through LG’s SuperSign CMS system, allowing businesses to manage multiple displays simultaneously.
The LG E-Paper Display will launch first in South Korea in June 2026, followed by Europe and the U.S. in July.
