Samsung is ushering in the era of mobile AI with its latest updates to the Try Galaxy app, now available to Samsung Galaxy users worldwide. This app aims to provide a firsthand experience of Galaxy AI features, including Live Translate, Chat Assist, Note Assist, Photo Assist, and Circle to Search with Google, without the need to switch phones.

Originally tailored for iOS users, the Try Galaxy app has now expanded to all Android devices, including Samsung Galaxy models. This expansion allows more users to explore the latest features of the Galaxy S24 series and One UI 6.1.

The updated Try Galaxy app offers an immersive experience, simulating the Galaxy S24 Series home screen. Users can navigate through tutorials and interactive content to familiarize themselves with the latest interface. A new widget on the home screen introduces core AI-powered features, with short demonstration videos explaining each feature’s application in daily life.

Here’s an overview of the new AI features highlighted in the widget:

  • Live Translate: Break language barriers with real-time, two-way call translation. Users can communicate seamlessly in 17 languages, including voice and text translations.
  • Note Assist: Receive AI-generated summaries of notes, with automatic formatting, spell check, and translations.
  • Chat Assist: Refine the tone of text messages and translate messages in real-time across 17 languages.
  • Photo Assist: Utilize Generative Edit to resize, reposition, or remove objects within photos, along with the Erase Reflection tool to eliminate unwanted shadows and reflections.
  • Circle to Search with Google: Conduct instant searches by circling items displayed on the screen, providing helpful search results based on the user’s location.

Additionally, the widget showcases the Galaxy S24 series’ advanced camera tools through immersive tutorial videos, covering features like Nightography Zoom, Super Steady video recording, and Portrait mode.

The app also introduces new Galaxy Themes and background images, including Art Wallpapers like graffiti and pop art. Users can explore informative cards about the Galaxy ecosystem, seamless multi-device connectivity, file-sharing capabilities, and body composition data through Samsung Health. Introductory videos about foldable experiences with the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 are also available.

The Try Galaxy app supports 20 languages across 120 countries and has garnered over 18 million cumulative downloads since its launch in 2022. Users can download the updated app via QR code or visit trygalaxy.com.
