vivo V80 Lite 5G Launches in Malaysia with Massive 10,000mAh Battery

vivo Malaysia has officially launched the vivo V80 Lite 5G, introducing its first V Series smartphone with a massive 10,000mAh battery. To mark the launch, vivo took over Bukit Bintang with a 10,000mAh Always Powered Glass House Showcase at Lot 10, featuring an endurance challenge with Malaysian actor Aedy Ashraf.

Designed for users who are constantly on the move, the vivo V80 Lite 5G combines a large 10,000mAh BlueVolt Battery, 45°C Constant Power technology, enhanced durability and a slim design.

The smartphone has also made its mark globally by setting a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the Longest Electronic Product Testing Livestream, lasting an impressive 32 hours and 37 minutes.

10,000mAh Battery Built to Last

The vivo V80 Lite 5G uses fourth-generation silicon anode technology and vivo’s Magic Cube Battery Packaging to deliver up to 16 hours of heavy usage while maintaining a slim form factor.

The device is designed to maintain stable performance in temperatures of up to 45°C, supported by a 3.8K Ultra Large VC Cooling System for improved heat management during demanding tasks.

It also features Battery Life Extender, which keeps essential functions such as emergency calls available even when the battery reaches 1%. Reverse Charging allows the smartphone to power compatible devices such as TWS earbuds.

For long-term reliability, vivo says its battery can retain at least 80% capacity after six years of use, supported by a self-developed charging algorithm and six-layer battery protection.

Built for Everyday Durability

The vivo V80 Lite 5G has undergone military-grade durability testing and is designed to handle everyday knocks and accidents. It can withstand drops of up to three metres onto carpet and one metre onto various solid surfaces.

The phone also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, providing protection against water immersion, heavy rain and exposure to various everyday liquids. IP6X dust resistance and scratch resistance further add to its durability, while the touchscreen remains responsive with wet or greasy fingers.

Large OLED Display and Stylish Design

The vivo V80 Lite 5G features a 6.83-inch 1.5K High-Brightness OLED Display with up to 2,000 nits High Brightness Mode and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display supports 1.07 billion colours and is surrounded by slim 1.35mm bezels for a 94.47% screen-to-body ratio.

The phone is available in Afterglow Pink, Emerald Green and Dawn Black, with rounded edges for a more comfortable grip.

For entertainment, Dual Stereo Speakers enhanced by vivo’s VEQ Algorithm provide deeper bass and a more immersive audio experience. Eye-care features such as Sleep Comfort Mode and Gaming Eye Protection are also included for more comfortable viewing.

50MP Sony Camera for Everyday Photography

For photography, the vivo V80 Lite 5G comes with a 50MP Sony rear camera alongside a 32MP HD wide-angle selfie camera with a 90° field of view.

The camera system includes practical features such as Check-In Watermark, which adds time and location information to photos, while AI Erase allows users to remove unwanted people or reflections from images.

Pricing and Pre-Order Offers

The vivo V80 Lite 5G is now available in Malaysia in Afterglow Pink, priced at RM1,399. Customers can also purchase the device from RM124.92 per month for 12 months at 0% interest.

Additional offers include up to RM150 off via SPayLater and an extra RM100 rebate through selected bank instalment plans.

Pre-orders are available from 3 to 11 September 2026 at vivo Concept Stores and online. Pre-order customers can receive gifts worth up to RM1,145, including a Smart Projector worth RM699, Backpack, V Selection Earbuds and Card Holder worth RM119.
