Doing whatever it can to help flood victims stay safe at shelters and providing them with daily necessities to see through these challenging times
Malaysia experienced one of its worst floods in years, with Selangor being the worst hit state in the country. Over 41,000 people needed to evacuate their homes and seek refuge in shelters, while rescue mission continues to help flood victims across the country. In light of the current events, vivo Malaysia heeded the call to help flood victims cope with the aftermath that happened last weekend.
To help reduce the worries and burden of flood victims, vivo Malaysia is doing whatever it can to contribute to the families seeking shelter in Sekolah Kebangsaan Jalan Kebun, Shah Alam with daily necessities. A total of RM10,000 were contributed to the purchase of face masks, hand sanitisers and COVID-19 self test kit to ensure hygiene and safety is taken care of. vivo Malaysia also collaborated with Uncle Kentang to donate dry food to the families.

At vivo, we want to do what we can to help the communities in their desperate times, with hopes that every action we do will make a difference to the lives of the victims. We will continue to do our part in helping the communities and providing care to them,” said Mike Xu, Chief Executive Officer of vivo Malaysia.
