UGREEN Strengthens Charging Safety with ATL Partnership and New Power Bank Safety Standards
UGREEN has announced a strategic partnership with Amperex Technology Limited (ATL) while also participating in the development of China’s new GB 47372-2026 technical specification for power bank safety.
The move reflects UGREEN’s continued focus on improving charging safety, battery reliability, and product quality across its portable power solutions.
Through the collaboration with ATL, one of the world’s leading lithium-ion battery manufacturers, UGREEN will integrate high-quality battery cells that comply with the latest safety requirements. The partnership combines ATL’s battery technology with UGREEN’s engineering capabilities to improve safety, consistency, and long-term reliability in portable charging products.
UGREEN also contributed industry expertise to the creation of the new GB 47372-2026 safety standard, helping shape future safety requirements for power banks and portable charging devices.
To further strengthen product reliability, UGREEN introduced a comprehensive five-part safety system covering:
- End-to-end manufacturing traceability
- Automated production processes
- Unique serial identification for every device
- Advanced battery cell safety testing
- Real-time monitoring and alert systems
The company says its battery testing procedures include nail penetration, lithium plating, and compression tests aligned with the latest industry standards.
