OPPO A7 Pro and A7 Pro Max Debut with 50MP AI Cameras and Up to 10,000mAh Battery

OPPO has expanded its A-series lineup in Malaysia with the new OPPO A7 Pro 5G and A7 Pro Max 5G, bringing upgraded AI camera features, large-capacity batteries and fast charging aimed at users looking for a dependable everyday smartphone.

Both models feature a 50MP Ultra-Wide AI Zoom Selfie Camera with a 100° field of view. The camera can automatically switch between 1x and 0.6x using AI Auto Wide-Angle Switch, making it easier to fit more people into group selfies.

OPPO has also introduced Natural Tone for A-Series, which is designed to produce more natural-looking skin tones without excessive whitening or smoothing. At the rear, both phones are equipped with a 50MP main camera with a 1/2-inch sensor, which captures more light than the previous generation for clearer images, particularly in challenging lighting.

For night photography, AI Night Mode uses RAW Super Night processing to improve detail in highlights and shadows while reducing noise and facial blur. A new AI Popout feature also allows subjects to be separated from their original photos and turned into creative collage-style images for social media.

Battery life is another major difference between the two models. The A7 Pro Max 5G packs a massive 10,000mAh battery, supporting up to 30.9 hours of Google Maps navigation, 14.7 hours of WhatsApp video calls and around 15 hours of MLBB gaming.

The Pro Max supports 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge, reaching a full charge in around 91 minutes, while five minutes of charging can provide approximately 11% battery. Meanwhile, the A7 Pro 5G comes with an 8,000mAh battery and 45W SUPERVOOC, taking around 101 minutes for a full charge.

Both models also support reverse wired charging, allowing them to be used as a power source for compatible accessories when needed.
