HUAWEI has maintained its position as the world’s leading brand for wrist-worn devices in the first half of 2026, according to the latest IDC Quarterly Wearable Device Tracker. The company accounted for more than 20% of global wrist-worn device shipments during the period.
HUAWEI has also maintained its leading position in China’s wrist-worn device market since 2021 and has ranked among the global leaders multiple times since 2024. The company attributes its continued growth to its broad smartwatch portfolio and regular product updates catering to different types of users.
Among its latest wearables, the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 targets serious runners with features including Marathon mode and running power tracking. HUAWEI also collaborated with legendary marathoner Eliud Kipchoge and his team on the WATCH GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition, which adds a Training Camp Dashboard with more detailed performance analysis.
For everyday fitness and wellness, the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series introduces Mini-workout, offering short exercise routines designed for users who spend long periods sitting. Meanwhile, the WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition combines a premium design with expanded health features, including menstrual cycle tracking and wellness insights.
The company has also expanded its children’s smartwatch range with the HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1 Series, featuring multiple wearing options, dual cameras and advanced positioning technology.
