HONOR is thrilled to announce its partnership with Google Cloud, bringing advanced AI features to the upcoming HONOR Magic V3, which will debut in Malaysia and at IFA 2024 in Berlin this Thursday. This collaboration introduces innovative features like AI Eraser, Face to Face Translation, and HONOR Notes.
The HONOR Magic V3 also debuts the new Magic Portal, providing a smarter and more intuitive user experience that transforms how users interact with their devices. Below are key features that highlight how AI on the HONOR Magic V3 enhances everyday tasks, including work, travel, and social interactions.
HONOR AI Eraser
Powered by generative AI technology developed in collaboration with Google Cloud, the AI Eraser on the HONOR Magic V3 allows users to effortlessly remove unwanted objects from their photos. Whether it’s a passerby or an intrusive object, the AI Eraser seamlessly reconstructs the background, ensuring a flawless final image.
Face to Face Translation
HONOR’s Face to Face Translation feature is designed to break language barriers, providing instant translations during live conversations. This feature is invaluable when traveling in foreign countries, engaging in conversations, or understanding speeches in different languages. Currently, Face to Face Translation supports 10 languages, including Chinese, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, and Bahasa Malaysia.
HONOR Notes
The Voice to Text feature on HONOR Notes uses advanced AI voice recognition to accurately transcribe spoken words into text, making note-taking effortless on the go. Once recorded, the transcript is easily accessible within the HONOR Notes app. This feature also filters out background noise, focusing solely on the user’s voice to minimize errors.
HONOR Notes also offers translation capabilities, powered by Google Cloud, allowing users to translate text or voice inputs into multiple languages directly within the app.
Magic Portal – Circle to Do More
The new Magic Portal feature enhances multitasking by allowing users to easily share and search for information. Simply circle text, addresses, or images with your knuckle and drag them into apps like Google, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok through the Magic Portal. On the HONOR Magic V3, users can open two Magic Portals simultaneously, making tasks like price comparison and navigation more convenient.

The HONOR Magic V3 sets a new standard in the foldable smartphone market with its revolutionary design. Not only does it excel in performance, hardware durability, and battery life, but it also boasts the thinnest and lightest design in HONOR’s foldable lineup, surpassing even most flagship bar phones.

Before its official launch on 5 September, HONOR invites the public to the HONOR Magic V3 Roadshow at Centre Court, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, from 3 to 8 September 2024. Visitors will have the chance to experience the HONOR Magic V3 firsthand, along with the new flagship tablet, HONOR MagicPad 2, and the MagicBook Art 14 laptop.
The event will feature an experience zone where visitors can explore the features of all three devices. Additionally, those who complete four experience zone activities—AI Eraser, Magic Portal – Circle to do More, Evolution of Foldable Thickness, and Face to Face Translation—can redeem a complimentary beverage. Visitors can also try the AI Eraser by capturing photos with the HONOR Magic V3 and removing unwanted background objects.
