JBL debuted its legacy-inspired Authentics 200, 300, and 500 speakers, as well as the Spinner BT turntable, at the Heart of Sound Roadshow at Kuala Lumpur’s Mid Valley Mega Mall. This classically designed combo combines yesteryear’s beauty with JBL’s 21st century audio technology.

JBL Authentics speakers are offered in three models. The JBL Authentics 500 is the most feature-rich in the series, with a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth smart speaker that delivers Dolby Atmos to engulf listeners in realistic room-filling sound. The JBL Authentics 300 provides compact, high-performance sound with an 8-hour battery, while the JBL Authentics 200 fills any area with strong, well-balanced stereo sound owing to its 1″ tweeters, full-range 5″ woofers, and downfiring 6″ passive radiator.
The JBL Authentics speakers have a unique integration designed in conjunction with Amazon and Google that gives listeners simultaneous access to their voice assistants.
The JBL Spinner BT features a streamlined design that includes an aluminum platter and tonearm, a black MDF plinth with JBL orange or gold accents, a modern front panel, and a hinged dust cover.
The belt drive and motor, along with an optical sensor, ensure that records are played flawlessly in time at 33.3 rpm for albums and 45 rpm for EPs and singles. Quickly connect Bluetooth speakers or headphones to the Spinner BT, and there is no audio sacrifice thanks to Aptx-HD encoding. The metal tonearm tracks the record groove perfectly without wearing it out. It has a detachable headshell for simple cartridge change or upgrading, an adjustable counterbalance, and an adjustable anti-skate.
