Ruark’s 100 Series music systems were unveiled in Malaysia today, giving a leap in evolutionary audio quality and a seamless synthesis of creativity and tech. The R410 delivers amazing audio experiences that will strike a perfect chord with the heart and spirit, combining years of knowledge with a gorgeous new appearance.

Today, there is a vast array of streaming services that allow us to listen to both old and new music. The R410 is largely intended for streaming and making the most of internet music and radio services, while users may still connect with traditional devices like as a turntable or CD drive.

The 100 Series offers music fans a powerful CPU capable of handling high-quality audio files and streams, including built-in Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Apple AirPlay, and Chromecast. This R410 CPU also has a smooth user interface that handles commands from the RotoDial controller – a feature brought over from their R-Series – and smartphone applications, presenting the interaction on the new high-resolution color display. Meanwhile, the portrait orientation of the display mimics how people see music services on their smartphones, making navigating simple and convenient.

Designed to be Seen

The R410 is meant to complement interior spaces with excellent attention to detail, precise proportions, and a modern twist on seventies-inspired aesthetics. From the handcrafted grille and cabinet to the precision-formed components, only the highest quality materials were employed. The 100 Series exemplifies Ruark’s careful balance of cabinet, amplifier, and drive unit design. The new material used for the grille structure and enclosure adds to the R410’s appearance. Engineered from sustainable woods that have been spliced, colored, and recomposed, the resultant eco-wood closely mimics slow growing hardwoods, but with the added benefit of stable grain patterns and color that changes less over time.

Furthermore, the RotoDial control method has been improved in the 100 Series, which has been a unique feature of Ruark devices since the release of the R1 in 2006, making it a tactile delight to operate. Furthermore, the R410 comes with a matched rechargeable remote with increased Bluetooth connectivity, which eliminates the need for aiming. Customers enjoy using it because it looks and feels like a high-quality watch.

Engineered to be Heard

The stunning appearance of the 100 Series raises expectations for sound, and the R410 excels in this regard. The cabinet’s optimized reflex enclosures provide perfect conditions for long-throw NS+ bass-mid-units. These units have a bigger diameter than previous versions and produce smooth, strong, controlled bass through to a natural middle, with the R410’s unique 20mm tweeters delivering exceptional detail and atmosphere.

For the R410, Ruark has also chosen a new generation of digital amplifiers. High efficiency and output with extremely little distortion. A full two-channel amplifier assembly is attached immediately to the rear of each bass mid-unit, optimizing and shortening critical signal lines.
