HUAWEI unveiled the tech-loaded FreeBuds Pro 2 with features not found on many other True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds, intertwining technological and engineering innovations. The new HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 was co-engineered by HUAWEI and Devialet, a world-renowned audio company, to integrate artistic concepts while providing consumers with a product that creates sound quality with rich physical details. The collaboration also demonstrates HUAWEI’s commitment to providing high-quality audio devices. Furthermore, the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 includes a few industry-leading features, making it the King of Audio.
The most recent HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 employs an innovative super-perceptual acoustic dual-unit system. The system is comprised primarily of three technologies: super-perceptual acoustic dual-unit, digital dual-frequency technology, and triple real-time listening optimization. Simply put, the earphones can restore and reproduce sound detail.
The most notable difference is the introduction of what the company calls the “Ultra-hearing True Sound Dual Driver,” which combines two drivers: a planar diaphragm for treble and overtones and a quad-magnet dynamic driver for medium and lower frequencies. They have a wide frequency range, ranging from 14Hz to 48kHz, making the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 Hi-Res Wireless Audio (HWA) certified. The HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 also has Hi-Res Audio Wireless Gold Standard certification. The HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 can be automatically tuned to your ear canal structure, wearing posture, and volume level thanks to HUAWEI’s “True Adaptive EQ” technology.
Furthermore, HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 can listen to sound at frequencies ranging from 16Hz to 20kHz. The human hearing frequency range, on the other hand, is 20Hz to 20kHz. Users can listen to frequencies below 20Hz while wearing the earbuds. Because sound below 20Hz is primarily bass music, this feature can help to enrich the music experience and allow users to enjoy better sound quality.
It makes another breakthrough in the dual-microphone active noise cancellation industry with its technological innovation, which introduces an industry-leading three-microphone stereo array design. It has a higher noise cancellation frequency and can cancel up to 47dB of noise. Aside from that, the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 comes with Pure Voice, an industry-leading call noise cancellation technology. The system is based on a four-mic hybrid Call Noise Cancellation system combined with Huawei’s proprietary deep neural network (DNN) noise cancellation algorithm, which allows the earbuds to pick up human voices while improving noise cancellation.
The LDAC high-resolution codec is supported by HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2, with a maximum audio transmission rate of 990 Kbps and a sampling rate and bit depth of 96kHz/24bit. It effectively reduces audio transmission delay and deterioration, allowing overall musical details to be well preserved and presented in high-fidelity sound. They were not by chance awarded the Hi-Res Audio Wireless Gold Standard certification for acoustic performance.
