Nothing Phone (4b) Debuts With Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, AI Features and Largest Battery Yet

Nothing has unveiled the Nothing Phone (4b), the first smartphone in its new (b) series. Positioned as a more affordable entry into the Nothing ecosystem, the device combines the brand’s signature transparent design with upgraded performance, AI-powered software, and long-term software support.

The Phone (4b) features a refined Glyph Interface with 45 programmable mini-LEDs for notifications, charging status, and other alerts. It retains Nothing’s transparent aesthetic and is available in Black, White, and Blue, with an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.

Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, paired with a custom vapour chamber cooling system for sustained performance during gaming and demanding tasks. The smartphone also packs Nothing’s largest battery to date, offering a 5,200mAh capacity with 33W fast charging, promising up to 18 hours of mixed usage on a single charge.

Photography is led by a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) alongside a 119-degree ultra-wide camera. The phone supports 4K video recording, AI-enhanced image processing, and dual video recording using both front and rear cameras simultaneously.

On the front, users get a 6.77-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display with HDR10+ support and peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits, while dual stereo speakers enhance the multimedia experience.

Running Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16, the Phone (4b) includes the company’s Essential AI suite, ChatGPT integration, Google Gemini, Circle to Search, and a dedicated Essential Key for quick access to AI-powered tools. Nothing is also promising three years of Android updates and six years of security patches.

The Nothing Phone (4b) will be available in Malaysia at a later date, with local pricing and availability to be announced separately.
