Samsung Galaxy A08 Brings Bigger Battery and AI Features

Samsung has introduced the new Galaxy A08, bringing upgraded performance, a larger battery, AI-powered features and enhanced durability to its A-series lineup.

The Galaxy A08 is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery, designed to provide longer usage for activities such as video streaming, social media and staying connected. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99+ processor and upgraded LPDDR5 memory, with RAM Plus providing additional virtual memory when needed. Users can also disable RAM Plus to preserve storage space.

For photography, the smartphone features a 50MP autofocus main camera, supported by a 2MP depth camera, while an 8MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.

AI Features for Everyday Tasks

The Galaxy A08 brings several AI-powered tools designed to make everyday tasks more convenient. Circle to Search with Google allows users to search for information by circling or tapping content directly on the screen.

Samsung also introduces Find the Look, which can help users search for complete outfits or identify music playing nearby. Multiple AI agents, including Gemini and Perplexity, can also interact with supported Samsung, Google and selected third-party apps through voice commands or a long press.

Built for Long-Term Use

Durability and security are another focus of the Galaxy A08. The smartphone comes with IP64-rated protection against dust and water splashes, while Samsung Knox Vault provides hardware-based protection for sensitive information.

Samsung is also offering up to six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, giving users longer software support throughout the device’s lifecycle.
