Lenovo Expands Virtualization Infrastructure Portfolio for AI-Ready Enterprises
Lenovo has introduced a range of new infrastructure solutions and services aimed at helping enterprises modernize virtualized IT environments while preparing their infrastructure for growing AI workloads.
The expanded portfolio includes the Lenovo ThinkAgile VX850 V4, Lenovo Premier Deploy for Infrastructure and an expanded range of Lenovo Express Solutions, giving businesses more options for simplifying infrastructure upgrades, deployment and ongoing management.
The ThinkAgile VX850 V4 is designed for highly virtualized enterprise environments and demanding in-memory workloads. Supporting both structured and unstructured data, the platform is aimed at organizations looking to consolidate critical workloads while creating additional capacity for future AI-driven applications.
Lenovo is also expanding its infrastructure deployment services with three options: Standard Deploy, Premier Deploy and Premier Deploy Plus. All three provide hardware installation and readiness support, while the higher-tier services add implementation, operational handover and post-deployment assistance.
Premier Deploy Plus additionally includes extended support and a one-year infrastructure health assessment, helping customers identify potential issues after deployment. The health assessment excludes DE Storage Array.
Validated Solutions for Virtualization and Hybrid Cloud
Through its Lenovo Top Choice Express programme, Lenovo Express Solutions provide pre-validated combinations of Lenovo infrastructure and software from technology partners. The expanded portfolio includes:
- Microsoft Hyper-V Ready Solutions and Windows Server for modernizing virtualized environments.
- Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization Solutions for running virtual machines and containerised applications on a unified platform.
- Microsoft Azure Local with Lenovo ThinkAgile MX V4 for virtualized, AI and cloud-native workloads across distributed and hybrid environments.
- Lenovo ThinkSystem with Nutanix Compute Cluster for independent compute scaling and flexible workload management.
- SUSE Virtualization on Lenovo ThinkSystem V4 for virtual machine and container workloads.
By using validated configurations, Lenovo aims to reduce integration complexity and provide enterprises with a more predictable path from infrastructure evaluation to deployment.
Lenovo is also highlighting its ThinkSystem Storage and ThinkAgile HCI platforms, which support scalable infrastructure, data protection and AI workloads. Integrated cyber-resilience features are designed to strengthen ransomware recovery and business continuity.
Meanwhile, XClarity Controller 3 and XClarity One use standards-based infrastructure management to help organisations integrate, automate and manage their IT environments more consistently.
Lenovo says its approach allows businesses to modernize existing infrastructure incrementally rather than replacing their entire technology environment, providing a flexible foundation for traditional, cloud-native and AI-native workloads.
