Xiaomi has announced Malaysian actor Meerqeen as the new Malaysia Ambassador for the upcoming REDMI Note 17 Series, ahead of its official launch on 2 September 2026.

The partnership brings together Meerqeen’s fast-paced lifestyle with REDMI’s focus on delivering smartphones built around performance, endurance and reliability.

As an actor and content creator constantly on the move, Meerqeen said he needs a smartphone that can keep up with long working hours, content creation and staying connected with fans.
