HUAWEI MatePad Air Launches in Malaysia at RM3,999 with AI-Powered PC-Like Productivity
HUAWEI has officially launched the HUAWEI MatePad Air in Malaysia, bringing together an ultra-thin design, AI-powered productivity tools and a large OLED display for users who need a versatile device on the go.
Measuring just 5.3mm thin and weighing 509g, the MatePad Air is designed for portability while maintaining the features needed for work, study, creativity and entertainment. It comes in Airy Blue, White and Sakura Pink.
AI-Powered Productivity
The tablet features PC-level WPS Office with WPS AI, allowing users to generate presentations, draft documents, improve writing, summarise PDFs and analyse spreadsheets.
HUAWEI Notes also includes AI-powered tools such as Speech-to-Text, AI Handwriting Enhancement and AI Tutor, while users can annotate PDF documents directly on the tablet.
For viewing and creative work, the MatePad Air comes with a 12-inch 2.8K OLED PaperMatte display with a 92% screen-to-body ratio, 4.69mm bezels and up to 1,200 nits peak brightness. The PaperMatte surface helps minimise glare and reflections while providing a more paper-like viewing experience.
Designed for Work and Creativity
The HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro supports 16,384 levels of pressure sensitivity and gesture controls including pinch, press and rotate. Features such as Swipe to Turn Pages and Air Mouse also make it useful for reading documents and controlling presentations.
Powering the tablet is a Kirin T93C octa-core processor, supported by up to 8GB of virtual memory. A 10,100mAh battery with 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge provides extended power for daily productivity and entertainment.
