HP Brings AI-Powered Printing to Malaysia with HP Print AI

HP has introduced HP Print AI in Malaysia, bringing intelligent features designed to make everyday printing faster, easier and less frustrating for home and office users.

The new technology addresses common printing problems, particularly when printing content from the web. Articles, recipes, travel information and online guides can often result in unwanted advertisements, poor formatting, incorrectly sized images and unnecessary pages.

Smarter Web Printing with Precise Print

One of the key features of HP Print AI is Precise Print, which automatically cleans up web content before it is printed. The feature can remove unwanted advertisements, improve spacing and adjust image sizing to create cleaner and more readable documents.

This helps reduce the need for manual formatting and unnecessary reprints, potentially saving users both paper and ink.

HP Print AI also provides personalised assistance during printer setup and support. Using natural-language interaction and contextual awareness, the system is designed to guide users through setup and provide more relevant assistance based on their needs.

AI Scanning for Businesses

For businesses, HP has expanded the availability of HP Scan AI Enhanced, a cloud-based document processing solution that can recognise different document types and extract important information according to business requirements.

The solution is designed to reduce manual data entry and streamline document workflows. HP highlighted a retail group in Italy with 300 locations that reportedly achieved an 80% reduction in labour costs after implementing the technology in its delivery and inventory processes.

Compatible HP Printers

HP Print AI is now available with selected HP printers in Malaysia, including the HP DeskJet 2800, 4300 and 5100 series; HP Smart Tank 500, 700 and 790 series; HP OfficeJet Pro 8100, 9100 and 9700 series; and selected HP LaserJet Pro 3000 and 4000 series.

Features vary by model and market, while Windows 11 is required.

HP is also offering a limited-time promotion with up to RM100 Touch ’n Go eWallet credit on selected printers.

With HP Print AI, the company aims to make printing more intelligent by reducing common frustrations and helping users get the results they want with fewer adjustments and reprints.
