Samsung Introduces Intelligent Eyewear to Expand the Galaxy Ecosystem
Samsung has introduced its new intelligent eyewear at Galaxy Unpacked, expanding the Galaxy ecosystem beyond smartphones into a new wearable category designed for everyday life, work, travel and hands-free experiences.
Developed together with leading eyewear brands Gentle Monster and Warby Parker, the intelligent eyewear combines Samsung’s AI technology with stylish designs, offering users a more natural way to access information and assistance without constantly relying on a smartphone screen.
Designed for daily wear, the eyewear features a lightweight frame, slim profile, durable construction and comfortable fit. It offers up to nine hours of battery life on a single charge, with up to seven additional full charges through the charging case. Powered by the Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 Platform, the device supports AI processing, connectivity and efficient performance within a compact design.
Integrated with the Galaxy ecosystem and built on the Android XR platform, the intelligent eyewear brings Google Gemini into a wearable form factor, enabling more intuitive AI interactions through voice commands and touch controls.
Key AI-powered experiences include:
- Hands-free assistance – Summarize messages, read important information aloud, support live translation and control connected devices without using a phone.
- Visual intelligence – Capture what users see, such as meeting notes or whiteboards, and organize information for easier review and sharing.

To create a more personalized wearable experience, Samsung collaborated with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker to deliver different frame styles and designs. The Gentle Monster edition features a sleek black frame with a modern silhouette, while the Warby Parker version offers a versatile brown design suitable for everyday use.
