HONOR Magic V6 Wins Top Honors at GLOMO Asia Awards

The HONOR Magic V6 secured two major accolades at the Global Mobile Awards Asia (GLOMO Awards Asia) during Mobile World Congress (MWC) Shanghai 2026 on 24 June 2026.

The device was named “Best Smartphone in Asia” and “Disruptive Device Innovation”, outperforming leading competitors including the iPhone 17 Pro. This marks the first time in GLOMO history that a single device has received both honors.

The recognition highlights HONOR’s continued push in mobile innovation, particularly in foldable smartphone design and next-generation battery technology.

The Magic V6 combines an ultra-slim foldable form factor with long battery life, flagship durability, and enhanced cross-ecosystem connectivity with Apple devices. It also integrates AI-powered agents and large-screen multitasking features, positioning it as a productivity-focused mobile device rather than just a conventional smartphone.

At its core is a 6,660mAh HONOR Silicon-carbon Battery—reportedly the largest ever used in a foldable phone. With around 25% silicon content and an energy density of 921Wh/L, the battery delivers higher capacity without significantly increasing thickness or weight.

Earlier in March, HONOR also received GLOMO recognition at MWC Barcelona 2026 for its breakthrough in commercialising silicon-carbon battery technology, reinforcing its momentum in device innovation and energy efficiency.
