Samsung Launches One UI 9 Beta for Galaxy S26 Series Users

One UI 9

Samsung Electronics has officially launched the One UI 9 beta program for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Series, introducing a more intuitive and personalized mobile experience powered by Android 17. The beta rollout begins this week in selected markets including Korea, the U.S., the U.K., Germany, India, and Poland.

One UI 9 brings several upgrades focused on creativity, customization, accessibility, and security. Samsung Notes now includes decorative tapes and more pen line styles for enhanced creativity, while the Contacts app integrates direct access to Creative Studio for easier profile card customization.

The updated Quick Panel offers more flexible controls, allowing users to independently adjust brightness, sound, and media player layouts with customizable sizing options. Accessibility improvements include adjustable Mouse Key speed for smoother cursor movement, a unified TalkBack package combining Samsung and Google features, and the new Text Spotlight feature that enlarges selected text for easier reading.

Samsung has also strengthened security in One UI 9. The system can now detect potentially harmful apps, warn users, block installations or execution, and recommend app removal through updated security policies.

The One UI 9 beta is currently available for Galaxy S26 series users through the Samsung Members app, while the full stable version is expected to debut on upcoming Galaxy flagship devices later this year.
