Qualcomm Technologies and Wayve have announced a technical collaboration to deliver a production-ready end-to-end AI platform for advanced driver assistance and automated driving systems (ADAS/AD).
The partnership integrates Wayve’s AI Driver with the Snapdragon Ride platform from Qualcomm. This combination creates a pre-integrated solution designed to help automakers deploy advanced driving capabilities ranging from hands-off driver assistance to eyes-off automated driving.
Wayve AI Driver functions as a vehicle-agnostic intelligence layer that learns driving behaviour using large-scale real-world data. When paired with Snapdragon Ride’s system-on-chip (SoC) architecture and integrated active safety software, the platform enables automakers to develop scalable and reliable ADAS solutions while simplifying system integration.
The collaboration is aimed at helping manufacturers accelerate time-to-market for next-generation driver assistance technologies while maintaining safety, flexibility, and performance across various vehicle models.
In addition to supporting current ADAS deployments, both companies are also exploring future opportunities to utilise Qualcomm’s automotive chips in Level 4 robotaxi applications, further expanding the potential of AI-powered autonomous driving systems.
