Vertiv has introduced the Vertiv PowerUPS 6000 Industrial, a new uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system designed to provide reliable power protection for commercial and industrial environments.
Built to support mission-critical operations, the UPS is suited for industries such as manufacturing, transportation, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, packaging, and steel production.
The Vertiv PowerUPS 6000 Industrial is engineered to operate in harsh industrial environments, featuring an IP42 rating that protects against dust, humidity, and temperatures up to 50°C. It safeguards critical systems including industrial control systems, PLCs, SCADA platforms, and automation equipment, helping maintain continuous operations during power disruptions.
The system also offers up to 96% efficiency in double-conversion mode and 99% in ECO mode, while supporting multiple battery types including VRLA, Nickel-Cadmium, and Lithium-Ion. Its compact cabinet design with front-access maintenance simplifies installation and servicing in space-constrained environments.
According to Vertiv, the UPS is designed to meet the growing demands of automated and connected industrial facilities, ensuring stable power delivery and protecting sensitive equipment from fluctuations.
