Dell Technologies today announced the appointment of Sumash Singh as its new Managing Director for Malaysia and Indonesia. In this leadership role, Sumash will be responsible for overseeing strategic operations, driving sustainable growth, and ensuring business continuity across both markets, while staying aligned with Dell’s broader regional and global objectives.
With more than 25 years of experience across Asia Pacific, Japan, and Southern Africa, Sumash brings proven expertise in leading high-performing teams, navigating complex market dynamics, and building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. His appointment underscores Dell’s commitment to strengthening its presence in Southeast Asia and accelerating digital transformation for businesses in the region.

Prior to joining Dell, he held leadership positions at AvePoint, Commvault, and Symantec, bringing with him a strong track record of advancing business strategies and customer success in the IT industry.
