OnePlus has officially unveiled two new smartphones in its Nord lineup: the OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE5. The new models aim to redefine expectations in the mid-range segment with powerful processors, large batteries, and cutting-edge OnePlus AI.
The OnePlus Nord 5 is the most powerful device in the Nord lineup yet, featuring the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and advanced imaging capabilities. The Nord CE5 also sees a major performance upgrade, offering excellent value while delivering a refined user experience.

Design and Durability
The Nord 5 balances elegance with strength. Built with a unibody construction and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, the phone is just 8.1mm thick and designed for comfortable handling. It is available in three finishes: Marble Sands, Dry Ice, and Phantom Grey.
Flagship-Level Power
Powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and paired with LPDDR5X RAM, the Nord 5 offers smooth performance and elite gaming visuals with hardware-accelerated ray tracing. The 6.83-inch 1.5K Swift AMOLED display supports up to 144Hz refresh rate and 1800 nits peak brightness.
A Cryo-Velocity vapor cooling system (7,300mm²) and the Trinity Engine optimization earned the Nord 5 a TÜV SÜD 72-Month Fluency A rating, ensuring long-term performance. The device includes a 6,800mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging and Bypass Charging for efficient power management during gaming.
AI-Enhanced Features
The new Plus Key on the Nord 5 replaces the Alert Slider, offering quick access to tools like screenshots, flashlight, and Do Not Disturb mode. It can also trigger AI Plus Mind, which stores on-screen content for easy recall and adds context-aware calendar events via AI Search.
The AI Call Assistant provides real-time translation and summaries, while AI VoiceScribe transcribes calls on platforms like WhatsApp and Zoom. Both models come pre-installed with Google Gemini and include a three-month trial of Google AI Pro.
Camera System
The Nord 5 features a 50MP ISOCELL JN5 front camera and a 50MP LYT-700 rear sensor—the same used in the OnePlus 13—offering 4K 60fps video and Ultra HDR Live Photos. The result is sharp, vibrant photography with dynamic range and lifelike color reproduction.

Performance and Gaming
The Nord CE5 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex chipset and a large 7,041mm² VC cooling system. Capable of running demanding games like BGMI and Call of Duty Mobile at up to 120 FPS, it’s built for performance.
Massive Battery, Fast Charging
It features a 7,100mAh battery—one of the largest in its class—providing up to 2.5 days of use. It supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, Battery Health Engine, and Bypass Charging.
Display and Imaging
The 6.77-inch 120Hz Super Fluid OLED screen supports Gaming HDR and Ultra HDR. The main camera is a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with RAW HDR, 4K 60fps HDR video recording, and Ultra HDR Live Photos. The Nord CE5 runs on the latest OxygenOS with OnePlus AI for smart productivity.
Durability
Rated IP65, the Nord CE5 is resistant to dust and water splashes and supports MicroSD card storage expansion up to 1TB.
