Nothing has officially unveiled the new Phone (4a) Series, introducing the Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro with upgraded design, powerful Snapdragon performance, improved cameras, and the latest Nothing OS experience.
Premium Design with Signature Transparency
The Phone (4a) Series continues Nothing’s iconic transparent design while introducing stronger materials and new colour options. The Phone (4a) Pro features a slim 7.95mm metal unibody design with IP65 durability and improved cooling, while the Phone (4a) retains the signature transparent look with a reinforced frame and IP64 protection.
Flagship-Level Camera System
The Phone (4a) Pro features a Sony LYT700c main camera and a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto lens capable of up to 140x zoom, the longest zoom on a Nothing smartphone. The standard Phone (4a) also includes a 50MP main camera, 50MP periscope lens, ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP selfie camera, supported by the TrueLens Engine 4 with AI-powered photography features.
Upgraded Glyph Interface
Nothing’s signature Glyph lighting system evolves with the Glyph Bar on Phone (4a), featuring 63 mini-LEDs for notifications, alerts, and visual cues. Meanwhile, the Phone (4a) Pro introduces the Glyph Matrix with 137 mini-LEDs, offering brighter and more detailed notification animations while reducing screen distractions.
Nothing OS 4.1 and AI Tools
Running on Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16, the phones deliver a cleaner interface, improved multitasking, and enhanced AI features such as Essential Search, Essential Memory, and customisable AI-powered widgets. The devices will receive 3 years of Android updates and 6 years of security patches.
Display, Performance, and Battery
The Phone (4a) Pro features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, while the Phone (4a) includes a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Performance is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 on the Pro model and Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 on the standard version. Both devices pack a 5080mAh battery with 50W fast charging, offering up to 17 hours of mixed usage.
Availability
The Phone (4a) will be available in Black, White, Blue, and Pink, while the Phone (4a) Pro will come in Black, Silver, and Pink.
Nothing Malaysia confirmed that local pricing and availability will be announced on 1 April 2026.
