DJI Osmo Pocket 4P Pearl White Arrives in Malaysia with 17 Stops of Dynamic Range
DJI has announced the availability of the Osmo Pocket 4P Pearl White in Malaysia, introducing a fresh colour option for its dual-lens gimbal camera. Combining a premium pearl-white finish with professional video capabilities, the new edition is designed for content creators, travel vloggers and filmmakers seeking cinematic results in a compact package.
The Pearl White Edition features a mica-infused finish with multi-layer coating technology, creating a subtle pearlescent appearance that changes under different lighting conditions.
Dual-Lens System for Cinematic Creativity
The Osmo Pocket 4P Pearl White features a 1-inch CMOS sensor paired with a 20mm wide-angle lens, an f/2.0 aperture and up to 4K video recording at 240fps. With up to 17 stops of dynamic range and support for 10-bit D-Log 2, the camera captures detailed highlights and shadows while offering greater flexibility for colour grading.
Its second lens is a 60mm medium-telephoto option with an f/1.8 aperture and 3× optical zoom, extending to 12× zoom. This setup allows creators to capture close-up portraits, cinematic perspectives and more detailed shots without carrying additional camera equipment.
Weighing approximately 230g, the camera combines dual-lens versatility with gimbal stabilisation for smooth footage on the go.
Smart Features for Modern Content Creators
Beyond its imaging capabilities, the Osmo Pocket 4P includes several features designed to simplify shooting and editing.
Key highlights include:
- 4K Slow Motion: Record footage at up to 4K/240fps for dramatic slow-motion sequences.
- 37MP Photos: Capture high-resolution still images with plenty of detail for cropping and reframing.
- 4K Live Photos: Record 1.5-second clips alongside photos to preserve the movement around each moment.
- ActiveTrack 8.0: Automatically track people, vehicles, pets and other subjects to keep them in frame.
- Fast File Transfers: USB 3.1 connectivity supports transfer speeds of up to 800MB/s.
- Extended Battery Life: Enjoy up to 210 minutes of runtime, with fast charging reaching 80% in approximately 18 minutes.
- 10-bit HDR Video: Capture over one billion colours for richer footage and greater post-production flexibility.
The camera also supports automatic media transfers to compatible iOS devices after shutdown. DJI recommends using an iPhone 16 series or later running iOS 26.4.1 or above, with the camera battery level above 15%, for optimal stability.
Compatible with DJI’s Osmo Accessories
The Pearl White Edition works with a range of separately sold accessories, including the Osmo Pocket 4 Fill Light, ND and polarising filters, wide-angle lens adapters, battery handle and OsmoAudio microphones.
This compatibility allows creators to customise their setup for different shooting environments, from everyday vlogging to more demanding video production.
