HUAWEI MATEPAD AIR RETURNS AS AN ULTRA-THIN PC-LIKE AI TABLET

Huawei is bringing back the HUAWEI MatePad Air in Malaysia, introducing an ultra-thin, PC-like AI tablet designed for professionals, students and users seeking a more versatile productivity device.

Built around Huawei’s “slim and stunning” design philosophy, the new MatePad Air features a refined full-metal body and will be available in Airy Blue, White and Sakura Pink. Its lightweight design makes it easy to carry between the office, home, classroom or wherever work and creativity take you.

The tablet is designed to deliver a PC-like productivity experience with WPS Office 3.0, now enhanced with WPS AI to help users streamline tasks and workflows. It is also supported by HUAWEI Notes and GoPaint, providing tools for note-taking, document work, creativity and digital content creation.

With the HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard and HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro, the MatePad Air can quickly transform between a productivity machine, digital notebook and creative canvas.

Another highlight is its upgraded Ultra-clear OLED PaperMatte Display, designed to provide a comfortable viewing experience for both productivity and entertainment. Whether you’re working on documents, sketching ideas or watching your favourite content, the display is designed to deliver vibrant visuals while maintaining a more comfortable viewing experience.

The new HUAWEI MatePad Air will officially launch in Malaysia on 18 August 2026.
