Samsung Electronics has received multiple honours at the IFA Innovation Awards 2026, recognising its latest home appliances for their design, innovation and smart features.

Among the highlights is the Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner, which won the Best in Design award and was also named an honouree in the Best in Home Appliances category.

The air conditioner features a modern Grid Design inspired by the clean lines and geometric patterns commonly found in contemporary interiors. Its streamlined appearance is designed to blend naturally into different living spaces while reducing the visual presence of traditional air-conditioning components.

Beyond its design, the Bespoke AI WindFree Pro also incorporates AI-powered comfort features. Its Three Motion Wings provide different airflow patterns, while AI Motion Wind uses a radar sensor to adjust airflow based on users’ movements and preferences.

The system also supports WindFree Wearable Good Sleep, which connects to compatible Samsung wearable devices to monitor sleep-related signals and automatically adjust cooling according to the user’s sleep state.

Samsung also received recognition for two refrigerator products. The Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub was named an honouree in the Best in Design category, thanks to its combination of a large 32-inch display, smart food management and connected kitchen functions.

Its AI Vision technology uses an internal camera to recognise food items as they are placed into or removed from the refrigerator. Users can manage food information, track use-by dates and receive recipe suggestions through the SmartThings Food platform. The refrigerator also supports Auto Open Door, allowing hands-free access through voice commands or touch.

Meanwhile, the Bespoke AI Refrigerator was recognised as an honouree in the Best in Home Appliances category. Designed for integrated kitchens, it can be installed with minimal gaps around the unit and features a zero-clearance hinge that allows the doors to open fully even in tighter spaces.

The refrigerator also uses thinner doors and SpaceMax technology to increase usable interior space without significantly changing its external dimensions. Its AI Hybrid Cooling system combines a conventional compressor with a Peltier element to help maintain efficient cooling based on usage conditions.

The multiple recognitions at IFA Innovation Awards 2026 highlight Samsung’s continued focus on combining AI, practical functionality and contemporary design across its home appliance lineup.
