Huawei today announced a major upgrade for its smartwatch lineup with full support for the Maxis eSIM Connect Plan on the HUAWEI WATCH 5 and HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2. With this update, users can now share their primary mobile number and data plan across both their smartphone and smartwatch, allowing calls, messages and data access even when the phone isn’t with them.
The Maxis eSIM Connect Plan lets the smartwatch function independently for communication, fitness tracking and daily activities — offering greater freedom whether users are working out, commuting or running errands. As part of the year-end festive season, both smartwatch models are available through Maxis Postpaid at more accessible monthly instalment plans, complete with a three-month waiver on the Maxis Connect Plan.
