ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has launched the Azoth Extreme, a state-of-the-art 75% gaming keyboard. Featuring an aluminum-alloy chassis combined with a metal frame, this keyboard not only looks premium but also delivers exceptional wireless performance. The carbon-fiber positioning plate ensures a crisp typing feel while reducing keystroke vibrations. Additionally, the adjustable gasket mount allows users to easily switch between a firm or cushioned typing experience using a quick-flip switch. The full-color OLED touchscreen on the top right corner of the keyboard provides vital system information and settings, while the adjacent three-way knob allows for instant adjustments to volume, multimedia, and lighting.
Superior Build Quality
The Azoth Extreme is meticulously crafted with an aluminum-alloy chassis and metal frame, undergoing a detailed 12-step manufacturing process that includes sandblasting, anodizing, and CNC machining. The keyboard achieves an impressive 8000 Hz polling rate when used with the ROG Polling Rate Booster and offers up to 1600 hours of battery life.
Crisp Typing and Excellent Acoustics
Equipped with a carbon-fiber positioning plate, the Azoth Extreme offers a rigid and precise typing experience. The plate’s elasticity provides excellent shock absorption, effectively minimizing typing vibrations. The keyboard incorporates three dampening layers, including two PORON® layers and a silicone pad, to absorb vibrations and minimize switch pinging and echoes, resulting in superior acoustics.
Adjustable Gasket Mount
The innovative gasket-mount design includes a quick-flip switch at the bottom of the keyboard, allowing users to adjust the typing feel. The Hard mode delivers firm keystrokes with quick rebound, ideal for gaming, while the Soft mode offers a cushioned, bouncy feel for comfortable extended typing sessions.
Full-Color OLED Touchscreen
The 1.47-inch full-color OLED display on the Azoth Extreme’s upper right corner displays various types of information, including connection status, Caps Lock, and PC/Mac mode indicators. Users can tap and swipe on the high-resolution screen to view hardware information and the KPS feature, which displays keystrokes per second.
Additional Features
The Azoth Extreme includes pre-lubed ROG NX mechanical switches for smoother keystrokes and enhanced acoustics. It offers tri-mode connectivity, allowing connections via Bluetooth, low-latency ROG SpeedNova 2.4 GHz RF wireless, or standard wired USB. Bluetooth enables simultaneous connections and easy switching between three devices. The keyboard also comes with a matching extended silicone wrist rest for added comfort and includes two pairs of magnetic feet of different heights, providing three tilt angles for user preference.
