As part of its vivo Care initiative, vivo Malaysia has pledged a portion of the campaign proceeds to be donated to four non-governmental organizations to lend a helping hand to affected communities during this tough times. vivo has partnered with The Lost Food Project, Food Aids Foundation, The Hope Branch and HOPE Worldwide Malaysia to donate towards the purchase of food and healthcare essential items.
“vivo believes in serving the communities in which we are present in and provide aid to the needy especially during these trying times. We are delighted to partner The Lost Food Project, Food Aids Foundation, The Hope Brand and HOPE Worldwide Malaysia who share a similar vision of helping the underprivileged communities with the assistance they urgently require. We welcome more like-minded partners to continue our vivo Care Programme mission of reaching the heart of the community and providing care for them,” said Mike Xu, Chief Executive Officer of vivo Malaysia.
Giving back to the community
vivo has recently pledged a total of RM7,420 to the Pan-Disability Football Club in supporting the community towards building a dedicated training centre and facilities for disability football in Malaysia through a one-month crowdfunding vivo Dream Field Campaign. This includes the donation of essential supplies including baby and childcare products to 100 families in Klang Valley through a non-governmental organisation, Refuge for the Refugees.
Earlier this year, vivo has also partnered with Yayasan Sin Chew through its vivo Care “Give A Little, Help A Lot” campaign to donate RM10 from each sold device on vivo’s official e-store during the 1-month campaign period towards providing medical aid to vulnerable communities during the pandemic.
