In anticipation of CES® 2023, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. presented its new Neo QLED, MICRO LED, and Samsung OLED lineups in addition to lifestyle products and accessories. The product range for this year emphasises better connectivity and customised consumer experiences with cutting-edge, creative technologies.
With more user-friendly technology than ever before, Samsung’s broad variety of products and services enables users to create their own custom experiences with the everyday devices they use. This year, Samsung advances in its ongoing mission to make consumers’ daily lives simpler by integrating many devices seamlessly throughout its whole ecosystem using the smart home platform SmartThings.
“In 2023, we are pushing boundaries of innovation to offer consumers more than just premium picture quality, but a holistic, premium device experience tailored to what they need and want out of their connected home,” said Cheolgi Kim, EVP of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “With SmartThings, our advanced technology is seamless and intuitive, making life more sustainable, accessible and enjoyable everyday.”
Premium and Connected Experiences with Neo QLED
Consumers can choose from a wide range of high-end Neo QLED 8K and 4K televisions from Samsung’s most recent assortment. Samsung’s innovating Neural Quantum Processor, which supports the Quantum Mini LED-lit TV with 14-bit processing and AI upscaling, powers Neo QLED picture quality. This processor also enables features like Shape Adaptive Light Control and Real Depth Enhancer Pro for a three-dimensional, lifelike picture.
The Samsung 2023 Neo QLEDs provide more than simply a clean image thanks to their high-resolution screen and unique algorithm, which power their new Auto HDR Remastering feature. It makes Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) material brighter and more vivid for complete immersion by analysing and applying High Dynamic Range (HDR) effects in real-time on a scene-by-scene basis.
Additionally, Zigbee and Thread devices can now be connected and controlled by SmartThings users without the need for a separate SmartThings dongle. The SmartThings Zigbee & Matter Thread One-Chip Module will be integrated directly into Samsung products starting in 2023. Also, SmartThings automatically syncs devices for simpler control of not just Samsung devices but also third-party appliances and IoT devices for seamless connectivity for the ultimate connected device experience.
- Chat Together: Users can easily enter a live chat group to share thoughts and react in real-time with others who are also watching the same content.
- ConnecTime: Make it easier to take video calls from connected devices, providing a larger platform for video calls on the TV and a seamless transition to a smaller device if a user wants to walk away and transfer the call to another screen.
- 3D Map View: Designed to let users conveniently control and monitor connected devices, Samsung’s 3D Map View provides users a bird’s eye view of their home and all of their SmartThings devices at-a-glance.
Broadening Viewing Options with MICRO LED and Samsung OLED
With new models in the 2023 MICRO LED lineup, users will have a wide range of options for outstanding image quality and screen experience. These models range in size from 50 to 140 inches. Because of its modular design, MICRO LED can be totally customised to meet a customer’s desired set up because it is not constrained by form, ratio, or size. Additionally, it comes without bezels, ensuring a smooth transition between the screen and the actual world regardless of configuration.
Furthermore, Samsung’s 2023 OLED lineup is now available in 55, 65, and the new ultra-large 77-inch models, giving consumers even more viewing options. Samsung’s newest OLED lineup includes Quantum Dot technology, which was created for Samsung’s Neo QLEDs and Neural Quantum Processors to preserve the key qualities of OLED technology while concurrently improving limits in its brightness and colour representation.
The new series includes a 144Hz refresh rate as well as all of Samsung’s smart features, including Samsung Gaming Hub. For the first time on an OLED TV, Samsung OLEDs are certified by AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro for the greatest OLED gaming experience.
Finally, Samsung provides Samsung TV Plus on all of its smart TV models to increase watching possibilities. The company’s free ad-supported TV (FAST) and video-on-demand service reaches 24 countries and 465 million devices worldwide with more than 1,800 channels, including more than 50 owned and operated channels. There are no downloads, memberships, or other devices needed, and it is completely free.
Explore a New World of Gaming with Samsung Gaming Hub
Users can access thousands of their favourite games from partners including Xbox, NVIDIA GeForce NOW, Amazon Luna, and Utomik without downloads, storage limitations, or consoles thanks to the Samsung Gaming Hub, the new home for gaming on Samsung Smart TVs. It is also the easiest gaming experience, allowing users to just turn on their TVs and start playing.
The Samsung Gaming Hub, which was introduced last year, offers stunning visuals and a completely different way to play games, including multitasking, extended partnerships, and 4K streaming.
Upgrades for GameBar 3.0 in 2023 will enhance the gaming experience for all types of players with features like MiniMap Sharing and Virtual Aim Point. While Virtual Aim Point, built for first-person shooters (FPS), allows players to observe more obvious crosshairs in any game so they can make the perfect shot, MiniMap Sharing enables players to see the minimap of their game at-a-glance on any display.
The Samsung Gaming Hub is also compatible with Samsung smart monitors and gaming displays, such as the Odyssey series. With Odyssey Ark, players can swivel their displays vertically or horizontally to experience immersive games on a 55-inch 1000R curved screen with strong sound.

Everyday Sustainability with Samsung Screens
Samsung continually works with partners and customers to be eco-conscious, offering a wider effect throughout the product’s lifespan, in line with the most recent environmental strategy announced in 2022. As a result, every step is altered to be more environmentally friendly, from increasing production efficiency to lowering packing and altering how customers use their products.
- Recycled Materials: For the 2023 lineup, Samsung will employ recycled ocean-bound plastic to replace 20% of the bracket parts used for the SolarCell Remote. Moreover, the primary components of the power board are made from recycled aluminium cans and copper, replacing around 12% of the original materials.
- Reducing Manufacturing Impact: Samsung produced a light-weight injection mould that needs less materials and has a repurposed structure, lowering total energy consumption and raw material requirements for production.
- AI Energy Saving Mode: Samsung’s 2023 TVs offer AI Energy Saving Mode via SmartThings, allowing consumers to conserve more energy in novel ways. SmartThings Energy Service for TVs helps in lowering the carbon footprint of connected devices with simple changes such as automatically switching to energy saving mode on specific devices when not in use. Furthermore, 3D Map View will make it easier to acquire a comprehensive overview of connected devices and put energy-saving ideas into practice.
- Eco-Packaging: By 2023, Samsung Eco-Packaging will have minimum print, consuming less ink in manufacture, and will employ paper tape to limit the usage of plastic in its packaging. Package sizes will also be lowered to reduce overall carbon emissions.

It can be put next to any TV and still provide crisp audio with powerful bass.
- Q-Symphony: In 2023, a new iteration of harmony between the TV and soundbar, known as Q-Symphony, will deliver sound that is considerably improved and uses the TV’s Neural Processing Unit to analyse audio data and process each sound with more detail.
In 2023 by pairing Samsung TV’s with Samsung Soundbars, these devices will offer the most powerful, customizable and personalized ecosystem available to date.
