Samsung Malaysia is happy to be a prominent partner of the HUNG Innovation Awards 2022, as part of its mission to encourage innovation and inspire future generations of artists and designers. This is consistent with Samsung’s ongoing pursuit of innovation and the refinement of its product craftsmanship in order to create extremely unique mobile devices.
This year’s designers were inspired by the bold and famous foldables, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4, and integrated these aspects into their designs. The 10 young finalists recently showed twenty jaw-dropping designs, together with Galaxy Z Series cellphones paraded down the runway by the models.

“The theme of creating our designs around the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 challenged me to innovate and think outside the box. The devices were the perfect muse due to their stylish, sleek and pocketable features. I am so pleased to win first place at the awards and am grateful to have this opportunity and experience to springboard my career in this industry,” said Schenric Toh, winner of the The Best Runway Look 2022.

Gillian Hung, a Malaysian fashion veteran, founded the HUNG Innovation Awards to create a venue for young, future designers to refine their innovation and originality via their creations, in partnership with other players and partners in the fashion business.
