ZTE U15S Arrives in Malaysia with Global Roaming, Wi-Fi 6 and 10,000mAh Battery
ZTE has officially launched the ZTE U15S in Malaysia, a portable connectivity device that combines global roaming, a Wi-Fi 6 hotspot and a 10,000mAh power bank in one compact unit. It is designed for travellers, business users and anyone who needs reliable connectivity on the move.
The U15S supports built-in global roaming across more than 150 countries and regions, allowing users to purchase data packages by scanning a QR code without changing SIM cards. For local connectivity in Malaysia, users can insert their own SIM card into the device’s external SIM slot.
Its Wi-Fi 6 hotspot supports up to 32 connected devices simultaneously, powered by the ZTE V3E-A53 dual-core chip and OFDMA technology for improved bandwidth allocation. The device also supports QR-code Wi-Fi Direct connections and a USB Type-C wired connection for laptops.
When the hotspot is switched off, the U15S can function as a 10,000mAh power bank with 18W bi-directional fast charging. Its battery provides up to 26 hours of continuous hotspot usage and up to 48 days of standby time, according to ZTE.
The device includes three operating modes: Pocket Wi-Fi Mode, Power Bank Mode and Airplane Mode. Users can switch between modes by holding a single button for approximately three seconds, while Airplane Mode disables wireless transmissions when required.
ZTE also highlights the U15S’s ability to support international applications such as WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Grab, Shopee, Waze and ChatGPT while travelling in China, without requiring complicated network configuration.
The U15S features a 1.44-inch HD colour display that shows QR codes, battery level, data usage and connection status. Weighing 237g, it comes with a curved chassis and a WebUI management portal for managing Wi-Fi settings, connected devices, traffic monitoring, firewall controls, SMS and firmware updates.
For durability, the device has undergone drop, micro-drop, temperature, salt spray, compression and USB Type-C durability testing. It comes with a 12-month standard warranty.
The ZTE U15S is available in Grey from 18 September 2026 at RM299 through ZTE’s official online and offline channels.
