Nothing Phone (4b) and Ear (3a) Launch in Malaysia from 20 September

Nothing has confirmed the Malaysian launch of the Phone (4b) and Ear (3a), with official sales set to begin on 20 September 2026.

Positioned as a more accessible entry into the Nothing ecosystem, the Phone (4b) features a streamlined unibody design with the brand’s signature Glyph Bar. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 mobile platform and comes with Nothing’s longest-lasting smartphone battery to date.

For photography, the Phone (4b) gets a 50MP camera system with OIS and EIS for improved stability, along with support for 4K video recording. The phone runs Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16, with Google Gemini and ChatGPT integration. Nothing is also promising three major Android updates and six years of security updates.

The Phone (4b) will be priced at RM1,599, while an early-bird promotion running from 8 September to 20 October 2026 offers it at RM1,499. Buyers will also receive a limited-edition Nothing Foldable Backpack and Nothing Phone Wrist Strap, while stocks last.

Meanwhile, the Nothing Ear (3a) continues the brand’s transparent design language and introduces a new 3-LED matrix Status Light on its charging case.

The earbuds feature a 12mm dynamic driver, 45dB wideband Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Static Spatial Audio and an 8-band Advanced EQ through the Nothing X app. Its Audio Capture features include Audio Snapshot and Call Recording, expanding the earbuds beyond traditional music listening.

Battery life is rated at up to 42 hours with the charging case, while a five-minute quick charge can provide up to one hour of playback. The Ear (3a) is available in Pink, White, Yellow and Black for RM399.

Pre-orders for both products are available exclusively online from 8 September at 8:00 PM via Nothing’s official website, Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop. Open sales begin on 20 September, with availability expanding to authorised retailers including Nothing Image Store, TMT and Urban Republic nationwide.
