BMAI GCARBON TURBO 4 Carbon-Plated Racing Shoe Launches in Malaysia at RM629

BMAI has launched the GCARBON TURBO 4, its latest flagship carbon-plated marathon racing shoe designed for runners looking to improve their race performance and personal bests.

Positioned around the concept of “Speed That Flows, Bounce That Lasts”, the GCARBON TURBO 4 combines a full-length T1000 carbon plate with upgraded BoomMAX Evonik nylon supercritical foam. The shoe is designed primarily for advanced runners targeting a sub-3:30 marathon, while also catering to competitive runners and race-pace training.

The T1000 carbon plate replaces the T700 plate used in the previous generation, providing a stiffer and more responsive platform intended to improve propulsion and running efficiency. Meanwhile, the midsole has been widened by 4mm at the forefoot and 6mm at the midfoot to provide a more stable base while maintaining responsive energy return.

The shoe also features a one-piece stretch tongue, breathable woven mesh upper and cast PU outsole. These components are designed to provide a secure fit, ventilation and reliable traction across different road conditions.

Weighing approximately 135g in size 37 and 172g in size 41, the GCARBON TURBO 4 has a 4.5mm heel-to-toe drop, giving it a lightweight profile suited to long-distance racing.

Beyond the product launch, BMAI Malaysia is expanding its involvement in the local running scene. The brand has signed 12 athletes across running and endurance sports and is introducing the “Road to KLSCM” PB Program, bringing together 30 athletes, running content creators and everyday runners to train with the GCARBON TURBO 4 ahead of the Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon.

BMAI currently operates Runner House locations in Kepong, Setapak and Seberang Jaya, with plans to expand into Johor Bahru and East Coast Malaysia. The brand also plans to engage with around 200 running clubs through community runs, training sessions and product activities.

For elite athletes, BMAI’s Elite Athlete Program will provide running equipment, training resources and opportunities to attend specialised training camps in China.

The BMAI GCARBON TURBO 4 is priced at RM629 in Malaysia. For the first month after launch, it will be offered at RM499 through BMAI’s official online stores and selected authorised retailers.

During the first week of launch, customers purchasing through BMAI Malaysia’s Shopee or TikTok Shop will also receive a complimentary pair of BMAI running socks worth RM39.
