UDECO Debuts in Kuala Lumpur to Strengthen ASEAN Digital Economy Collaboration

UDECO (United Digital Economies) officially launched its inaugural Kuala Lumpur Conclave, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers and digital infrastructure providers to strengthen collaboration across ASEAN’s digital economy.

Hosted by ACCESS Blockchain Association Malaysia at TEIZA’s headquarters, the event highlighted UDECO’s mission as a neutral, non-profit initiative supporting regional digital economy development, with TEIZA providing its sovereign digital infrastructure.

The conclave featured two key Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signings:

• ACCESS Malaysia partnered with ACCESS Singapore, the Fintech Association of Malaysia (FAOM) and Women in Tech to establish a regional partnership network supporting ASEAN’s digital ecosystem.
• TEIZA signed MoUs with Morpheus, Sole AI, and Ingots, expanding the Malaysia Digital Consortium ecosystem into AI infrastructure, digital assets and fintech innovation.

The event also hosted panel discussions on Web3 policy adoption in ASEAN and cross-border stablecoin payment rails, highlighting the importance of collaboration between governments, industry and civil society.

Aligned with the upcoming ASEAN Digital Economy Framework Agreement (DEFA), UDECO aims to support a more connected, secure and future-ready digital economy across the region.
