Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Malaysia Launch Set for 4 September, Starts from RM2,899
Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy S26 FE, bringing a range of flagship-inspired features, enhanced Galaxy AI tools and an upgraded camera system to the more affordable FE series.
The Galaxy S26 FE is also the first Galaxy S26 series model to launch with One UI 9, offering new AI-powered experiences designed to make everyday tasks easier.
Enhanced Camera and AI Features
The Galaxy S26 FE comes with an upgraded triple-camera setup, including 3x optical zoom and an improved 12MP front camera. Samsung has also brought several advanced video and photography features to the device.
My FanCam can automatically track a selected person and keep them centred while recording, while Super Steady with Horizontal Lock helps produce smoother and more level video.
For low-light photography, Samsung’s Nightography technology aims to deliver brighter and more detailed images. Users can also use Photo Assist to edit photos using natural language prompts.
The phone also supports Gemini Omni, allowing users to create and edit video clips using content stored in their Gallery.
One UI 9 Brings Smarter Galaxy AI
The Galaxy S26 FE introduces several new AI experiences through One UI 9.
An updated Now Brief provides more personalised information through customisable cards, while Now Nudge can offer contextual suggestions from supported apps and notifications.
Circle to Search with Google has also been enhanced, allowing users to search for multiple objects within an image at once.
Large Display and Long-Lasting Battery
The Galaxy S26 FE features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for gaming, streaming, browsing and everyday productivity.
Powering the device is a 4,900mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging, which can reach up to 69% charge in around 30 minutes when using a compatible adapter.
Samsung is also promising long-term software support, with the Galaxy S26 FE receiving up to seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE will officially go on sale in Malaysia from 4 September 2026, available in Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio.
