Samsung Electronics has unveiled Flex Titanium, a new display technology designed for its next generation of Galaxy foldable smartphones. Built on seven generations of foldable innovation, the new technology aims to deliver a more durable display, reduced crease visibility, and an improved viewing experience without compromising the slim form factor.

At the heart of Flex Titanium is a redesigned display structure that combines a titanium-alloy film and a titanium support plate. The titanium-alloy film, positioned beneath the OLED panel, offers up to 20 times greater mechanical stiffness than conventional polymer films while remaining exceptionally thin. Meanwhile, the titanium plate provides enhanced structural support with advanced micro-patterned holes that improve flexibility and withstand repeated folding.

Samsung says the new display architecture also incorporates next-generation organic materials and a higher-resolution panel, resulting in brighter visuals, improved power efficiency, and lower energy consumption.

The company developed Flex Titanium by leveraging years of expertise in foldable display engineering, responding to user demand for larger immersive screens with less noticeable creases while maintaining durability for everyday use.

According to Samsung, the new technology represents another milestone in its foldable display development and will debut on the next generation of Galaxy foldable smartphones, which are set to be officially unveiled at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event.

Ahead of the launch, Samsung Malaysia is inviting customers to register their interest for the new Galaxy devices. Registrants stand a chance to win prizes worth up to RM62,944, receive an additional RM120 e-voucher, and can also purchase a RM250 Samsung Reservation+ Voucher for just RM50, redeemable towards the upcoming Galaxy foldable devices.
