ASUS ROG Unveils Raikiri II Pro Gaming Controller with 8K Polling Rate and Extreme Customisation
ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has introduced the ROG Raikiri II Pro PC Controller, a premium gaming controller designed for competitive gamers who demand ultra-fast response times, precise controls, and extensive customisation options.
Built for esports-level performance, the ROG Raikiri II Pro features ROG SpeedNova wireless technology with an 8K polling rate, delivering ultra-low latency and highly responsive input for fast-paced gaming. Every button, including the D-pad, ABXY keys, rear buttons, and bumpers, uses micro switches for sharper actuation and tactile feedback.
The controller also introduces Dual Mode Triggers, allowing players to switch between short-travel micro-switch triggers for rapid actions and full-travel TMR sensor triggers for smoother control depending on the game genre.
Designed for personalised gameplay, the Raikiri II Pro comes with hot-swappable TMR joystick modules that provide anti-drift performance, improved durability, and lower power consumption. Gamers can customise joystick resistance with included 120gf and 50gf modules, while four removable rear buttons and two additional claw bumpers offer flexible control layouts.
A built-in full-colour display panel allows users to make quick adjustments directly on the controller, including button remapping, vibration settings, joystick calibration, lighting effects, and profile switching. Through ASUS Gear Link software, gamers can further customise button layouts, joystick sensitivity, and enable Turbo mode for rapid repeated inputs.
For extended gaming sessions, the ROG Raikiri II Pro delivers up to 79 hours of 2.4GHz wireless gameplay on a single charge, making it suitable for long gaming marathons.
The controller also comes with a premium accessory package including a protective charging case, charging stand, rear button cover plates, module removal tool, additional TMR joystick modules, and detachable joystick caps.
ASUS has yet to announce the Malaysia pricing and availability of the ROG Raikiri II Pro, with further updates to be shared through ROG Malaysia’s official social media channels.
